Not quite done

The California Angels believe Tommy John finally is finished as a pitcher at age 42 and release him 39 years ago today.

John, however, does not believe he is finished and keeps pitching for another four years, picking up 31 more victories to give him 288 for his Hall of Fame-worthy career.
