Two-time Cy Young Award winner and convicted embezzler Denny McLain on the advice he receives from his therapist ahead of writing his 2007 book, I Told You I Wasn’t Perfect:

“He said, ‘Write the book, and if you don’t like it when you’re done, burn it.’ About halfway through, it became very therapeutic for me. It’s helped me with my frustration and my anger. We all need to ventilate once in a while, and this was 400 pages of ventilation for me.”
