Who’s on first?

In a three-team trade involving all first basemen, the Montreal Expos 24 years ago today deal Brad Fullmer to Toronto with the Blue Jays shipping David Segui to Texas and the Rangers sending Lee Stevens to Montreal.

Two years later, the Expos flip Stevens to Cleveland in a flop of a deal that costs Montreal top prospects and future All-Stars in infielder Brandon Phillips, pitcher Cliff Lee and outfielder Grady Sizemore in exchange for a couple of months of pitcher Bartolo Colon.
